If you haven't seen the Scrubs Episode, "My Musical", then you are missing out BIG TIME. It's basically Scrubs in musical form. Anyways, the best song of the musical is a little ditty about the special friendship of JD and Turk, who act more like a married couple than Turk and his own wife. Anyways, my pal Jim wanted to see Wright + Reyes = <3 and well, I think this works. Who would star in the Red Sox' version? If it was 2004, no doubt it'd be Manny and Millar. However, this year, I think it'd be......Beckett and Papelbon, perhaps? IT could be anybody on the team.

Coco and Lowell's Bad Day

This is inspired by Lowell's postgame reaction to his 3-error night on the second game of the season. The basic story is that Lowell was eating an ice cream sandwich to cheer himself up, like comfort food. So then came the imagery of Lowell and Coco, who I always seem to like to see together kinda like Statler and Waldorf on the Muppets, all snarky and stuff. Well this time, they're more effeminate, eating ice cream in their pajamas and watching Lifetime. I can't help it, I just had to do it. Though I'm sure this is what Orlando Hudson does after a bad day(he admitted to watching Lifetime before!).

Schilling's Big Mouth and Hinske's Remorse

No, boys and girls, you are not just seeing things. I am actually back with more artpads. It's shocking, I know. But I kinda felt that with the new season full steam ahead and a long break time to not only just get my head straight after last November(personal ish) but to also perfect the drawing of Matsuzaka, which still needs some help, and to get more ideas. I got a few with the help of some friends. Anyways, this first one was requested from my good pal Patti, who was amused at the whole scene in the dugout today of Matsuzaka listening to Schilling talk and such. This is a two parter with part one being Matsuzaka grumbling and Schilling blabbing on. Part two is the remorse of Eric Hinske leaving him there. Anyways, good to be back. Oh and I was experimenting a bit of some fonts since I need to add my own now because the stupid thing gives the boring ass Arial font.

Manny and his New Workout Regime

Okay I confess, I drew this only because the thought of Manny in a tutu cracked me up. That's Tito and Papi talking. I almost used an exchange that was also used in the Dugout where Tito was "How can..." and Papi goes "Don't ask me the questions I don't know the answers to". But that had to do with the elliptical machine somehow bearing resemblance to the Quaker Oatmeal Guy. But plagarism sucks, so I didn't :) Just Manny Being Manny.

One Time in Boston...

Whenever I hear about Bronson in Cincinatti, he's always waxing poetic on his time in Boston. I keep getting this feeling that Bronson is like the Band Camp Girl on American Pie except substitute Band Camp with Boston. And yes, he's about just as much a nympho, according to the pictures that floated around. I just seem him talking all about Boston nonstop to teh point of his teammates wanting to shut him up. Add in Gonz' arriving, and methinks those two are gonna piss off everybody else on the team with their Boston Love. Ohhh good times, good times. But this is just my opinion

Bill Mueller: One of 25

Yes. I am back. Yeah I was hoping to be back by Thanksgiving but finals + socialization kinda got me all out of whack with everything. My bad folks. But I return with one of the "One of 25 Series" This is Bill Mueller. Mueller is one of the unsung heroes of the 2004 season, IMO, the catalyst of the entire season. He saved the season not once, but THREE times. Once in early July when the Red Sox blew a 7 run lead but then won on a walkoff double. The second time...the Brawl Game. That's all that needs to be said. Teh final time was during the playoffs. We all know the series of events by heart. He retired this year so I say good luck to him and I hope he's happy with his career :)

On an Official Hiatus

There's been some things that have happened within my family and honestly, I'm not really in the mood to be doing them up right now. Ken Rosenthal at the Winter Meetings

In case you don't know, Ken Rosenthal is a columnist for FoxSports.com. Last year during the winter meetings, he seemed to have all the big scoops way before anybody else. Anyways the always fabulous CN and I had a running joke that Rosenthal would hide in the closets of certain GMs and be all vouyeristic and overhear all the deals and stuff. And because everybody probably gossips about everybody else, I think Rosenthal only really needs to stay in at least one closet. And yes, my mind is very cracked.

Papi and the Thanksgiving Phone Calls

As I've said before, Papi can cook. I'd like to think that he gets called on a constant basis by teammates about cooking tips for Thanksgiving. And yes, I know Papi is Dominican but his wife is from Wisconsin, so methinks he's celebrated Thanksgiving before. Also, I love the thought of his teammates/former teammates calling him up and asking him for tips and he's all like helpful and comes through for them in the clutch, just like he does on the field :)

Now my mind wandered over towards the Bumper Boats, as they are very popular with people in Adventureland(minigolf place in my town) Also, the idea of Manny Del falling into the bumper boat pool is based on a true story. Mike Timlin Mancrush Anonymous

This is a simple concept. Mike Timlin seems to have the admiration of a lot of people. Most notably Jonathan Papelbon(notice the subconscious imitation there), Manny Delcarmen, and Craig Hansen. Also, Mike Myers and Alan Embree seem to like him quite a bit too. I mean, with the youngins, it seems they all seem to be wearing the camo underneath their shirts, just like their idol. Also I like to think that they all meet every month to try to 12-step the mancrush portion of their admiration...or at least gossip about Timlin. As I've addressed before, a lot of my artpads seem to err towards the side of the ghey, which I say it's all in good natured ribbing. Do they really have mancrushes? Who knows. Let me have my fun dammit!

Derek Lowe: Breakdancing Expert

This one...well I dunno I just imaging Derek Lowe seeming to be really into the 80's hip-hop scene knowing every song and breakdancing like nobody's business. Also, I saw a picture of him w/ a Kangol hat on once so I'm kinda like inspiried by that. Also, I can never get DLowe's hair color right. It's like a blonde, reddish, brown tint. Despite all of this, if there ever is a movie about the 2004 Red Sox(there's actually a rumor that there'll be a miniseries produced on HBO about them) Derek Lowe MUST be played by Owen Wilson. That is all.

Untold Stories from the 2006 Season: Rainout TV

Okay this one came solely from the idea of having someone catch a few of the Red Sox players watching a musical and acting out the scenes. And then came the perverted side of me thinking "hey! Tranvestites!" and thus came this. Though, for the sake of the male contingent of viewers, I have no imagery of men in lingerie for you. Just the mental image is enough. Okay the movie, is Rocky Horror Picture Show which is trippy but pretty fun as well. The songs are "The Time Warp" and "Sweet Transvestite". Wakey is in here because of my old "Little Known Fact" of Wakefield. Trot because he seems like a closet musical freak. And Manny Del because...well he looks like he is really into Cabaret. As for Loretta in here? Well...he's not somebody I'd expect in lingerie. And for the record, I spared you males a lot. Because I would've drew it because Loretta is quite good looking. And that is that. And I apologize for any souls vomited. Also, this will be the last horribly horribly wrong one that I'll do in a looooong time.

For some reason, I envision Coco Crisp and Mike Lowell as a sort of Stadler and Waldorf combo just sorta sitting in the dugout, cracking snarky jokes about their team. I dunno they just seem like they'd make a helluva comedic team. I think it's probably just my own POV. Anyways this Artpad as my little Snarky Duo at work again, this time paying $200 to get Manny Ramirez to streak across Fenway Park(paying $100 each). And of course, Manny would've done it for an ice cream cone but they went with the money. Honestly, if Manny ended up streaking across Fenway Park, would we be suprised? I know I wouldn't be.

Lowell, Gonz, and the Gold Gloves

Ahh yes, the American League Gold Gloves. The Gold Gloves in general are the biggest crock of shit this side of town. Granted some choices are legit and decent, but the fact that Derek Jeter has won the Gold Glove for the third straight year is just very unsettling. But then again Gold Gloves are a crock every season. It just gets annoying sometimes. Chavez I guess is a legit choice but he's only played 137 games in response to Lowell's 153. And also as a contrary Gonz has played 111 games, but I still say that Jeter shouldn't have won. Uribe should've instead :) At least that's my opinion. But still, I mean the Red Sox have had the best fielding team inthe majors but somehow be shut out for Gold Gloves?! Does. Not. Compute.

Jose Reyes #7

Jose Reyes is the Mets shortstop. I have an irrational love for him that has kinda just seemed to develop throughout the end of 2006. He's just so little and adorable. And I love his hair. It's all like pre dreads but not exactly spikes. But also Reyes is a helluva player. He's a good hitter, great baserunner, solid fielder, he's just is a lot of of fun to watch. The Mets are blessed to have two budding superstars(him and David Wright) guaranteed to be playing together for years to come. That's awesome and great for baseball.

The Youngins Go Camping

Because they're not exactly rookies anymore(save for Lester and Hansen), I'm calling them "Youngins" cuz they're rather young. This was made to fufill a request of having the four of them at the shooting range or something. So I thought them gathered around a campfire talking random ish and roasting marshmallows would be a good idea. I dunno for some reason I can see them re-enacting Stand By Me and getting into some argument about if Goofy is a dog or not. Or just arguing about what's a purse and what's a messenger bag(Paps has a purse!). Just random good times. Also, I can't draw Hansen to save my life.

Red Sox Halloween: Losing Bets

This has a bit of a storyline behind it. I have these two dressed like this as more of a "they lost a bet" kinda deal. For Schill, now we've seen him as Wonder Woman before in these artpads, so I did it again because mehh I was lazy. Now him and Belli had a bet about what song of Michael Jackson was Manny Delcarmen as. Schill thought it was from "Beat It" while Belli had the correct response. Now if Belli had lost, he would've went as Roseanne. As for Poor Tim Wakefield over there, him and Timlin had a little bet about who'd win the WS. Wakey liked the Tigers' chances but Timlin thought the Cards would finally pull it out, but also because he was biased. Now if he lost, he would've dressed as a Vegas Showgirl. But he won, so Wakey is Carmen Miranda.

To be honest, I was being a jerk w/ the Cora one. I love the guy to death, but he has huge ears. So I decided to play up on that. I went with Fievel because Fievel is adorabler than Dumbo and Mighty Mouse. Also, I think Cora's kids would so have him be Fievel if they could. So it works out. As for Lowell, that one was completely random. He looks like a pimp more than Liberace though. But that's fine by me. I just randomly put Lowell as Liberace and hte mental image was too good to not do up. That's the way I roll, ya'll.

Coco Crisp going as Prince kinda just randomly came to me. Originally I was gonna deem Manny Del(it was between the King of Pop, Prince, and Timlin) as Prince, but Thriller, dude! So I thought of Coco Crisp dressing up like Prince. And well, the thought of Coco in eyeliner, I must admit, is kinda hot. So he's Prince. No assless pants, though I wouldn't fully object to that :) As for Timlin as Ted Nugent: They both hunt, wear lots of camo, and are batshit insane. Of COURSE Timlin is gonna go as Nugent. The Nuge is like his brother from another mother. Seriously.

Red Sox Halloween: Hero Worship

I love drawing and writing about the younger players on the team. They're the funnest to do because I think of them as wide eyed children just amazed at the world around them. This is one of the examples why. Now Wily Mo Pena is dressed as Big Papi because, quite frankly, he wants to be Big Papi. I imagine him with Big Papi footy pajamas cuddling a stuffed Papi(seriously, the Red Sox are sittign on a goldmine here) while watching a tape of the 2004 ALCS. As for Paps, he is Timlin, who has quite a cult following of youngsters that relaly look up to him. I would've had Manny Del here in this spot(given he seems to have a bit of a mancrush on Timlin) but I couldn't pass up Manny Del as Michael Jackson. So Paps gets the honor. I think of Paps and Timlin as a sort of father/son kinda dynamic. And Papel is all "I wanna be like my dad...I mean teammate Mike!" I mean he dresses like him in some instances, so just being him would be second nature! Oh and I had to do the helmet flip, or as my friend Nikole puts it "Ejecto Helmet!"

This is about Tek and Belli. Tek is Crash Davis form Bull Durham because....well...dude, if he HASN'T been Crash Davis for Halloween then I will be very disappointed in him. Also, it's his favorite movie and I hear he knows it verbatim. He had to be that. As for Belli as a Ghostbuster, I have this thought in my mind that Doug Mirabelli beneath that whole tough guy, stud who hits bombs, egotistical persona is a young teenaged boy just yearning to be a Ghostbuster. So needless to say, I had to do that one up. Though whenever I think of Ghostbusters I more think of a young me at age 2 jumping on the couch when I'd hear the theme song and yelling out "GHOST GA-GA's!" I was a strange child.

Yes boys and girls, I have returned with the artpad goodness. Thank god for Halloween busting my ass out of that really elongated creative slump. It was worse than Kevin Millar in the first half of 2004. I will supply your asses with teh goodness of the Artpaddings next entry. This one is just a big fat "I'M SORRY!" entry. I'm sorry that I hadn't gotten any done within the past month. Part of the reason being I'm busy with school and all that crazy bull. Another thing is that I had been a little stuck on what to do. Then Halloween comes and unlocks my brain thanks to a simple mental image of Manny Delcarmen dressed as Michael Jackson doing the Thriller Dance. Hooray mental pictures! :D

Addresssing the Lack of Updates

The Blackbird of Hope and his New Home

There's times in life when baseball may seem like it's more than a game, that it's life or death. I know I'm accused of doing this a lot of times. I take losses like it's the end of the world and I have even gotten depressed over some really bad losses and sometimes get all over the top in my giddiness over some wins. It happens in life, but despite what we all say sometimes, baseball is only really a game. I've been reminded of this recently, with Jon Lester being diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. This alludes to the "Blackbird of Hope" artpad series I did a good couple weeks ago. Right now, more than anybody else, Jon Lester needs that little blackbird by his side. Cancer is a scary thing, but the good thing with Lester is that they caught it early on and it's treatable. That's the important thing. I believe Lester will be okay, he's a tough sonofabitch.

Speaking of which, one of my friends from LJ Courtney and a few of her friends came up with this great idea about making silicone bracelets(and even t-shirts) in support of Lester. It's called The Lester Project. It's a great idea, I think, and I thought I'd let other people know about it as well. It's still in stages of infancy, so bear with them. There's also a MySpace page for it, in case you want more information there.

A Childhood Dream Come True

How cool was it for Carlos Pena to hit a walkoff HR last night? That was one of the awesomest things to happen for a New England native. Pena is from Haverhill, MA and grew up a huge Red Sox fan. He alluded to his youth when he used to pretend he was Mo Vaughn hitting a walkoff HR in his backyard. Yeah it doesn't look too much like him. My bad. But also, for the record, I called it! :D I have friends who can back me up on this one.

Get Well Lester

Right now, the season is basically lost, but honestly that doesn't matter to me. With what this team has had to go through with Papi having heart trouble, the five trilion incidents and this newest one, which is the feature of this artpad, I don't blame them for not exactly being in the game. I hope nobody else blames them either. I just hope they win enough to make it intesresting and to win for their pride. But if not, I won't be too upset. You see, it'd be one thing if they outright sucked all through August, but they didn't exaclty do that. They lost half their team basically. Sure SOME outright sucked but others just....it just was awful. This latest event involves Jon Lester. He's currently hospitalized for enlarged lymph nodes, which are besting tested for all types of things including cancer. :( Oh and Manny is giving him a cupcake w/ a baseball looking frosting on it. Yum! Seriously, my thoughts and prayers are with the Lester family and the Red Sox, and I hope for a speedy recovery and for it to not be cancer. That'd be awful

Papelbon and the Burning Bucket of KFC

Now I'm not gonna draw anything involving death, and she didn't want an artpad of him doing htat. But she did want one of her chasing Damon around w/ a hammer. Thus this one came up. Now I dont' think it looks really a thing like her but I try. Also, I don't like Johnny Damon, I never liked him and if he really was loyal to the Red Sox and not to his wallet, he would've signed with a team that isn't the Yankees. So I'd wish he'd just be straight up and admit he went for the money.

This was a double challenge for me. For one thing, I wanted something to show the vast height differences between Kyle Snyder(6'8) and Dustin Pedroia(it says 5'8 but I think that's ultra generous, more like 5'5). The other was well, David Wells acting like Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers movies. I think he goofs around and does this time and time again in the clubhouse. At least in my mind, and let me have my dreams dammit! :P

Manny Ramirez is hurt, what can cheer up ol' hurt and ailing Manny? Well, Dustin Pedroia has an idea in the form of a chocolate chip, chocolate, pistachio triple scoop ice cream cone. I love drawing the rookies acting all innocent and childlike. Likeliness of them being that was is usually probably not that true, but you all shush yourselves and let me have my dreams, okay? This was also partially inspired by the Coca Cola ad w/ Mean Joe Green back in the 70's. I wonder if Manny would throw him his ice pack to keep or something. :P

The Blackbird of Hope

This is one of those comic strip-esque things, like the one I did to that Art Martone quotage a while back. This one is to the poem "Hope"-Emily Dickinson, which has been stick in my head recently. I kinda converted it into a Red Sox version using a blackbird. Why a blackbird? Well if you saw the game after the trading deadline, there was that blackbird t hat came onto the field that was kinda hurt and stuff. So I used that blackbird as the pillar. Also on the episode of "Arthur" that featured Mike Timlin, Edgar Renteria, and Johnny Damon(*growls*), Mike Timlin recited the beginning of this poem. Coco Crisp is The Flash

If anybody had seen the Orioles series at all, you should know that Mike Lowell somehow withstood a pitch that hit his head and not only that but basically was nothing short of fantastic forever after that...well at least for that series. Not sure if anybody remembers this in 2005, but in late in the season when Foulke was off the DL(*gasp*) for the brief like 3 week stint off the DL, he pitched vs the Jays. Anyways he hit Eric Hinske with a pitch and Hinske was quoted as saying "He nearly took my nipple off" anyways one year later, they're both on the team...and methinks Hinske still remembers the near de-nippling. :P Props to Jeffrey for reminding me of this.

Foulke never gets his due. He's known as "surly, arrogant, and not caring about baseball" but you know what? Fuck them. Foulke is one of the main reasons why the Red Sox were able to overcome that 0-3 hole in 2004. He was nothign short of amazing and pitched his ass off. Honestly, nobody should ever boo Foulke. Joe Maddon, as you may not know, is the manager of the Devil Rays. Also, is the creator of the "3-4" shift, one of the most bizarro David Ortiz shifts ever. Needless to say, he has a big giant mancrush on Ortiz. He never seems to shut up about him when the Rays and Sox play against each other and then this little snippet which takes the cake (go under Sweet Smell of Success) about him sending him a little note and buying him a cologne cuz Ortiz complimented it. From Coco Crisp's unbelievable game saving diving catch last night, to Adam Stern's game saver in mid-April, to Mark Loretta's nice defensive gems, to A-Gonz being A-Gonz, to Mike Lowell being awesome as hell, this defense is freaking awesome. Hell even Manny contributes here and there with some good defense and some outfield assists. As for the with leather line? Red Bull Gives You Wings

This looks/reads/sounds like some uber corny Family Circus cartoon, but dude I apologize for that. But anyways, if you didn't watch last night, then you missed out on one of the greatest catches evar. Coco Crisp basically lays out like Superman and makes an astounding catch which even his own TEAMMATES were cheering for him. He attributed his catch to the Red Bull he was drinking (screencap linked courtesy of Surviving Grady) so of course, that joke was just waiting to be used, yo! Why Lester? Pedro Martinez: One of 25

Another one of the "One of 25" set, this one on Pedro Martinez. First off, Pedro Martinez is one of the reasons on why I am a Red Sox fan. I remember being mesmerized with him during the 1999 All Star Game which was at Fenway Park(IMO, one of the best All Star Games ever). Pedro is one of the greatest pitcher to ever put on a Red Sox uniform. I don't understand why Dirt Dogs is on a one-man campaign to turn everybody against Pedro and to boo him. That's fucked up, forrealz, ya'll. Yeah so what if he left for the Mets, and yeah he may have been a primadonna every once and a while, but when he was on that mound he gave it his all and he always competed. That's what matters. And also, he didn't go to the Yankees like Johnny Damon did, so there. BTW, for Damon, I advocated that they cheer him once and then boo him the rest of the time.

Get Well Gammo!

Peter Gammons is the man, plain and simple. It broke my heart to hear that Gammo had suffered a brain aneurysm yesterday morning, but I am happy that the surgery was successful and they got to it before it bursted and is currently in good condition. Gammons is one of my heroes in the baseball world, he's a baseball writer who is a Red Sox fan, but he always writes objectively, for the most part. Occasionally he'll sneak some bias in, and as Gabe Kapler once said "Com'on man, everybody knows you're a Red Sox fan, enjoy this with us!" after the ALCS win in 2004. He's a great writer who while he does kinda need an editor time and time again, he's a fan of the game and he's doing what he loves. Also I reccommend everybody to read his HOF Speech from 2005. Here's to a quick and speedy recovery for the Commish. Also, I can't draw Gammo too well

Brett Myers Gets Some Information

Brett Myers is a fucking scumbag. I'm all for seeing both sides of the story, but in these such cases, I can't do such things. Especially his whole comment of "Sorry it had to get public" which is just totally the wrong thing to say. Papelbon Brings the Scrabble To the Locker Room

Yeah I've been lazy lately, my bad folks. But seriously, I had a little burst of creativity lately along with the accompanying rainout right now. This first one, well if you watched the game on Fox, then you caught Papelbon bragging about his mad Scrabble skillz(yes I know that's misspelled so shush you) and saying "DON'T MAKE ME BRING THE SCRABBLE BOARD TO THE LOCKER ROOM" followed by a completely inane ramble by Tim McCarver to which Joe Buck got brownie points by responding "Folks, feel free to turn off the TV right now" me thinks Buck is kinda suck of him. But anyways, this is just a brief interpretation of what playing Scrabble w/ Papelbon is probably like. Yeah I think he calls out people if he doesn't think certain words exist. I used Matty C because....dude, he'd so play Scrabble for the hell of it.

Gonzalez to Loretta to Youks

This is a very unheard of but very welcome phrase to ever hear from the Red Sox, who lead the MLB in fielding. That, my friends is unheard of given the awful defense that this team has had in the past five years. You can probably replace Gonzalez with Lowell or Cora as well...actually just use Gonzalez, Lowell, Loretta, Cora, and Youks and just flip it around and you got yourselves some pretty spiffy DP combos. So anyways in conclusion. The infield=awesome. And I'l never get sick of that DP combo at all :D

The Longest Game

Tomorrow will mark the 25th anniversary of the continuation of The Longest Game. I grew in RI so the history of this longest game has been kinda forcefed to me, for PawSox games were basically a childhood tradition with RIers. You went to at least one or two games in your lifetime, sometimes in one season. I went in my younger years and I remember seeing guys like Trot Nixon, Nomar Garciaparra, and hell even Jeff Suppan. But for every successful(or in Suppan's case, inexplicably decent) ballplayers you had guys like the Immortal Izzy Alcantara and Pork Chop Pough as well. But anyways, on April 18-19...which I know I SEVERELY misdated, which I apologize. Anyways the two most recognizeable players who played in that said game and are now in the Hall of Fame are Cal Ripken, Jr and Wade Boggs(goes down smooth). Welcome Back Kapler

I don't talk about Gabe Kapler too often, and really, I'm not sure why I don't. It's not that I dislike the guy I just never really do. He's a helluva human being and I for one am so glad he's back. This is just in tribute to his return which I hope doesn't become a yearly thing of him saying "Bye" and then coming back like a while later. I kid I kid. This is also for my pal Courtney who is the biggest Gabe Kapler fan evar. And I don't blame her. Gabe....he's a prince of a human being as I've said once before. Dominican Love Posse

For my Yankee pal Lauren who despite being a Yankee fan likes some Red Sox players. It's not that she hates the Red Sox, it's just that she never wants to see them win. Ever. Well that's the way she puts it. She despises A-Rod so mad brownie points there! :) Anyways, yeah this is circa 2005 HR Derby in which I had the most fun ever watching a baseball event. So many dorky inside jokes and so many dorky observations(Papi's daughter looking like Manny, Jason "0-fer Canada" Bay, and Tek's voice sounding like a part of the male anatomy(if it actually had a voice I mean), amongst others...including the ever popular Kenny Rogers jokes) but yeah after Papi's first round there was a mad lovely mobbage of Dominican players....of course I suck at drawing mobbings so I just used Manny waving the Dominican flag and Papi adn Miggy hugging.

Remy and the Mancrush

My dad and I can't be the only two people who see this(well besides the people I talk to about it a good 502 times a day) at least I hope not. Basically I think that Jerry Remy has a massive mancrush on Alex Cora. Granted it hasn't hit the level of Tim McCarver w/ Derek Jeter(though I hope to hell NOTHING ever reaches that level of creepiness) but it is pretty prevalent, IMO. But anyways, yeah that's what this one is about, I don't think I can demonstrate it any further...so yeah. Enjoy!

Welcome Kyle Snyder

I'm pretty sure we all had this reaction when we first saw Kyle Snyder. We all thought "BRONSON?! How the hell did Theo pull that off!?" My theory, however, is that Snyder was rebuilt using DNA of Bronson and a few very cunning surgical procedures and a crapload of luck. Now how will he pitch down the stretch? Who knows. Hopefully, he at least is half of what Bronson is doing right now and I'll be happy.

Lester and the Dinner Date

I forgot where I read or heard it, I think it was on NESN but Tito had Lester and Beckett fly ahead of the team to Atlanta and wanted Josh to "take Lester out to dinner" Now me thinks that both are single guys probably wanting to have a little fun along the way(well I THINK Lester is single...I could be wrong). So methinks they went to The Gold Club....I mean, it's only natural, right? Now I doubt Lester had this kind of innocent reaction, he more likely than not got his mack on, but I like the innocent angle...and Josh probalby went back to the hotel in frustration about not getting any cuz Lester was such a dork. :P

Papi's Kitchen

Little known(yet true!) fact about David Ortiz, he likes to cook. He is pretty good at it too, from what I hears. But you should all know this anyway if you have the Faith Rewarded DVD, there's a segment with Papi and Sam Horn where Papi's making food for him. He actually says the line, and I think he was addressing Tom Caron "If you don't got any flava, stay out of my kitchen!" And I mean it's not like the usual "burgers and fries" fare either...he likes a lot of like healthy and exotic foods which is awesome on my list(and I'd love to try that seafood salad that it talked about in that linkage) I think seriously, the Jimmy Fund(and if Ortiz wants to do it too) should have an auction or something or a contest to "Win a Chance ot have Dinner with Ortiz" or something...it'd make mad money for one thing and also Ortiz can cook :D well if he wants to. But yeah I'm rambling so I'll STFU right now and leave you be.
